Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a passion for delivering exceptional landscaping maintenance projects, looking for a new opportunity?

Natural Habitats is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to provide leadership to our dedicated team of professionals, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed within budget, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.

As a Project Manager in our Auckland Maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing leadership to Team Leaders and staff to ensure maintenance projects and jobs are completed within budgeted margins and adhere to client expectations.

Key Responsibilities to Cultivate Success:

  • Project and Job Delivery - ensure project and job deliverables align with client expectations, promote property improvement planning through upsells, create and manage Property Management Plans and ensure all administration requirements are met.
  • Client Relations - build, craft and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Manage communication with clients through effective management and according to contract specifications.
  • Leadership - lead and support Team Leaders to deliver projects on time and to budget, educate and train team members on specific sites, encourage a teamwork environment, manage timesheets, and provide updates to management.
  • Procurement - adhere to procurement procedures, create schedules, and uphold negotiated pricing. Analyse actual quantities against quotes to address overruns and ensuring precise tracking of team hours chargeable to projects and jobs.

About You

You’ll have a track record of managing landscaping projects and jobs across commercial and residential clients, have a passion for growing people and process the ability to manage excellent relationships with clients and staff.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a horticulture leadership position, with ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or Project Manager.
  • Proven technical expertise in landscaping, with a focus on landscaping management and identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Proven track record in Project Management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding team management capabilities.
  • It is advantageous if you have a Project Management, Landscape or Horticulture qualification.
