Landscaper - Canterbury Region

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Gardener to join our Canterbury Maintenance team. As a team member, you'll tackle diverse tasks like mowing, tree care, garden installations, and helping on larger projects when required.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Mowing and Edging Lawns
  • Detailing of bedding plants, hedges and trees
  • Installing New Garden Beds
  • Maintaining Small Green Walls

If you enjoy spending your days outdoors and getting involved in practical work on an ongoing casual basis, then this is the job for you!

About You

You should have a passion for landscaping, be willing to work hard and enjoy working with tools and in the garden. You must be a team player, ready to learn and ideally, have some experience.

You will also have considerable experience in gardening and handling tools (ideally including heavy machinery) and get immense satisfaction from completing a project and pleasing clients. You will enjoy sharing your knowledge with others and are adept at communicating and collaborating with your team, clients and contractors.

Requirements:
  • At least 3+ years experience in landscape gardening
  • Basic knowledge of plants and the requirements they need to thrive.
  • The ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and grow.
  • Drivers License
Advantageous but not essential
  • First Aid & Site Safe certifications
  • Ability to drive a Manual vehicle
  • PrimaryITO Level 2 in Amenity Horticulture
